My name is Megan Fulkerson and I am excited to be teaching First Grade at Fairview Elementary. I received my bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University in 2004. In 2012, I earned my National Board Certification in Elementary Education. I have been teaching in Buncombe County since 2005. I have taught kindergarten for 6 years, 2nd grade from 5 years and this is my second year in 1st grade. I am new to Fairview Elementary this school year and look forward to getting to know the families in the community.
My husband is a teacher at Cane Creek Middle School. We have 2 children that attend Fairview. Outside of school I enjoy traveling and reading on my front porch.
